STRIP-PROJECT PreviewCARico MAssimo presents:JACOPO BENASSIMEIWO a concept for a book made in Guangzhou, China. While in Guangzhou, China for a month.Jacopo Benassi gets under the skin of a metropolis with over a 120 million souls. Loving the flesh, spirit, and the schizophrenia of the “world’s factory”. The geography of the city is a map of bodies, skyscrapers and abandon – an urban fabric where sprawl, jungle and steel intertwine. So he made a theater and then it turns out It was a really, really bad idea and not a single movie was shown there. The local’s in the middle of somewhere Egypt didn’t like the idea for some reason and sabotaged it. Now there’s a random theater in the middle of the desert and some day no one will know why.
